Upstate New York Policing Research Consortium
The Upstate New York Policing Research Consortium (UNY-PRC) is an organization of scholars, activists and community members impacted by the criminal legal system. We seek to inform policy, empower affected communities and privilege incarcerated voices. UNY-PRC centers smaller cities and rural areas in New York where research on mass incarceration is under-researched and under-funded. We affirm the radical power of collaborative humanities research to critically analyze and transform the justice system.
